Maidreamin is a fun, small maid cafe in Akihabara that I’ve been to multiple times. They put on a good musical performance while their deserts are the ultimate in cute (kawaii). The facilities could use a refurbishing but are good enough.

We stopped through here a couple of days ago. It was a truly unique and fun experience. The girls were highly energetic and really made us feel like we were in a special cat universe. You learn a little bit of japanese while you are there because you have to recite some magical cat incantations before you eat or drink anything. Whenever you want to get one of the cat's attention, you have to say "meow meow" and do a gesture along with it. One of the cats was nice enough to even let me charge my phone when I was on low battery. If you are in Akihabara, then I would highly recommend the experience. The table prices are hourly, so pay attention to the time, if you are on a travel budget.
